In April 2017, Canada’s Food and Drugs Administration approved the herbal medicine naturopathic doctor and naturopath, Tatahome, to use in treating asthma.
The medicine is made from the leaves of the plant and is used in the treatment of bronchial asthma.
Tatayome is available in pharmacies in Montreal and Ottawa and is a specialty of the herbal and alternative medicine industry.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Naturopaths of Canada said that the company “is delighted to see this development and will be able to distribute the product in Canada to the public.”
The company says the approval will help alleviate the burden of treatment and prevent future complications.
In the United States, Naturopathic Doctors Association said in a statement that the drug is “a safe, effective, and well-tolerated, and widely used treatment for asthma.”
Naturopathy is a branch of medicine dedicated to helping heal the body by providing health care and spiritual support to the practitioner.
According to the American College of Naturopeds, there are over 200 naturopathy clinics in the United State.
